Paragliding Pre World Cup Happening In Pokhara,Nepal

Probably first of its kind event, paragliding pre world cup is happening in Pokhara. 162 pilots from 36 countries including Nepal are participating in the week long event. Winner of the event will be awarded Rs 50000 with trophy and certificates where as runner ups will get Rs 40000 and 30000 respectively. The competition will be observed by Yann Martail and the winner will be selected with their overall performance.The event is jointly hosted by Nepal Airsport Association and Egor Terentyve. The pilots will take off from Toripani Sarangkot, a spectacular hill station of Pokhara Nepal. Take off venue is one of famous tourist destination for its spectacular view of Annapurna Range  at the north and Fewa lake just below.

Prakash Acharya is an entrepreneur from Nepal, passionately working to substitute fossil fuels with clean energy technologies. He co-founds Mukti Energy, a solar energy company providing a one-stop solution in the sector. He is also a big believer in change so he advocates and works for creating impact in society. His topics of interest spans from sustainability, zero energy, poverty reduction, sociology to smart city. He graduated from Institute of Engineering, Thapathali Campus on Industrial engineering. He is also a former assistant lecturer in IOE, Thapathali . Prakash is a fellow for Social Entrepreneurship Outreach Program 2014, Social Entrepreneurship Forum Sweden.
