Kathmandu-Naubise Tunnel Way Design

Detail technical and financial report of ” Kathmandu-Naubise Tunnel Way” has been finalized and the global tender will be called  by December 2017 for the construction. It is going to be built under  loan assistance by Japan government . The total budget for the project is estimated to be 16 billion Nepali Rupees.

 The  2.35 Kilometers tunnel will be completed within 4 years, which will reduce travel time to 20 minutes from an hour or sometimes 3-4 hours due to traffic congestion.

This is going to be a vital development to reduce traffic congestion and assure trouble free travel to Kathmandu from all over Nepal.

The total  road span will be 12 meters wide with 1-1 meter in each for pedestrian. It will be facilitated with mechanical ventilators, Jet Fan, and fire fighters for emergency.
